On a scale of 1 to 'you heartless cow', how ruthless and unsentimental is it to sell or give away old birthday or Christmas presents that you really do not use (or perhaps like)?

(29.11.05 14:25) I think it's fine if it's something you no longer use, and it's been a while since you received them. Especially if you need to clear out old clutter etc. Putting it on eBay on Boxing day is a big no-no...! |

(30.11.05 08:29) I have to say that I have a good clean out from time to time. The think is to leave enough time between getting it and getting rid of it, so that the person who gave it to you has forgotten all about it as well. Mind you, I'm one of those people who always forgets what I've given someone! Things from really close friends I tend to keep though - including singing gorillas in hawaiain shirts! |
